Welcome to the Monticello Transportation Department!
The MCSD Transportation Department transports more than 500 students to 4 different schools in the district. We provide transportation to more than 600 students. Each day 12 buses and vans pick up and drop off students for school. In addition to the regular routes, students are also transported to preschool, the Alternative High School, several special education and work programs during the course of the day. We also run shuttle routes within Monticello in the mornings and afternoons.
The goal for the MCSD Transportation Department is to provide the students of this district with a safe and secure and efficient transportation program. This goal can be achieved through the efforts of the school, students, and parents. The privilege of receiving transportation services is dependent upon meeting behavioral expectations. The privileges can be revoked if students are not following the school bus rules.
