Panther Academy is our before & after-school child care and summer program located at Shannon Elementary and Carpenter Elementary. Panther Academy provides activities that support a child’s natural desire to explore and create. Our main goal is to provide a safe, supportive and healthy environment for your child.

Mission Statement:
The mission of Panther Academy is to provide high quality, developmentally appropriate child care services for school aged children in a safe and educational environment.

Curriculum & Activities:
Panther Academy provides activities that supports a child’s natural desire to explore and create. Curriculum opportunities include four main areas of development: Social and Emotional, Language, Physical and Cognitive. We provide curriculum and activities that enable each child to develop new skills at their own pace. Our main goal is to provide a safe, supportive and healthy environment for children.

Children may enroll from drop in care (if available) to full-time care. Full-time care will be given schedule priority. Any family with drop in care will need to notify us 48 hours in advance to ensure proper child/staff ratio.

Panther Academy is closed on the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day.

The center will also be closed for two in-service days in August each year and two days after the last day of school for professional development and to prepare for summer care.
